THOMPSON TECHNOLOGIES CONTINUES TO GROW
Friday, August 12, 2011 – Kennesaw, GA – Based on direction from clients, and studies showing 70% of Georgia technology companies planning to increase their staff in the next 12 months, Thompson Technologies has added two seasoned Recruiters and a new Senior Account Executive to their team. Thompson’s new additions reflect their ongoing commitment to supporting their growing clients and providing personalized quality service to both candidates and clients.
The recruiting team’s additions, Tammy Kirk and Robert Bouchard, will help continue to support their current clients’ needs as well as help support new business initiatives. VP of Recruiting, Ari Waller, could not be more pleased stating, “It is a privilege to have Tammy and Robert join our tenured recruiting team. They come to us with experience and insight that will add diversity and talent to our recruiting initiatives.”
Tammy Kirk comes to Thompson with over six years of experience in the staffing industry, specializing in IT and full life cycle recruitment. Most of her experience has been with placing, but is not limited to Software Engineers (.NET and Java), IT Project Managers, QA Analysts, and Business Analysts. She has extensive experience providing consulting solutions for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities. Tammy has a passion for recruiting and has consistently been recognized with accolades throughout her career.
Robert Bouchard started his career in Merchant Payment Processing before quickly being promoted to an Inside Sales Rep for Outsourced IT services. Within the same company, he was later promoted to Placement Services Rep where he developed their internal recruiting strategy for System and Network Engineers, DBA’s, and Software Developers. In January of 2007, he joined a staffing firm as an Account Manager and Technical Recruiter for full life cycle IT recruiting. Robert’s efforts allowed him to reach the threshold as a career million dollar producer for gross profit in December of 2010 and earning the title of Talent Director.
In addition to the new Recruiters, the Sales Team has recently welcomed Senior Account Executive, Elizabeth Lyons. Elizabeth is a proven IT Sale's professional with over 10 years of experience. At her previous company, she helped the company grow from both a leadership and production perspective. Not only has Elizabeth succeeded from a results standpoint, but she has a reputation for caring about her clients and working hard to exceed their needs and expectations. One co-worker noted, “She represented us in a professional manner and established quality relationships with many key clients. Elizabeth has a solid understanding of the IT consulting business.” Lyons has also won several awards including Top Sales Professional, Fastest Growth of Account Base and Leader of the Year awards.
Elizabeth’s initiatives at Thompson are focused on new client growth. VP of Sales, Shannon Brandon, is excited to have Elizabeth on board, “Her track record speaks for itself. Elizabeth’s combination of high energy and “can do” attitude enables her to deliver high quality results. Elizabeth has already made a great contribution to our Sales Team, supporting both account management and business development initiatives.”
