THOMPSON TECHNOLOGIES PROMOTES JIM CALISE
Monday, June 27, 2011 – Kennesaw, GA – Thompson Technologies recently promoted Jim Calise to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jim began with Thompson in January of 2008 as the Vice President, Finance and Administration and has continually expanded his role and responsibilities.
Jim came to Thompson Technologies from another staffing firm where he held the title of VP & CFO and supported the company through triple digit growth. Calise has a 16 year background in the staffing industry, and has used his previous experience to become a vital asset to the Thompson Technologies’ team.
In his first three years, he implemented a new applicant tracking system, supported a major rebranding effort, upgraded the IT infrastructure, and improved accounting and payroll systems to ensure we are providing exceptional service to the company’s candidates and clients. This was done while supporting a 67% growth in 2010.
Since starting at Thompson, Calise has received the Chairman’s Circle award twice and has recently been promoted to Chairman of the Advisory Board at The Shepherd Center where he has volunteered for over 15 years. His continued accomplishments, combined with his passion for serving his internal and external clients, has earned him his new title.

Calise holds an MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University and a BA from Middlebury College in Vermont. He holds an active CPA license and is a member of both the Georgia and American Societies of CPA’s.
